Gary sings and plays the guitar. Most of his stuff in singer/songwriter-esque because he didn't have the resources to do other things, that is until he started to play with these fine people. More than a few years after graduating Gonzaga, Gary still views this as the best way to utilize his composition major. It's also common knowledge that Gary will sing about anything, or anyone for that matter. Seriously. "But that's ok, whatever grabs the love handles of the collective imagination," says Gary.
Daniel plays lead guitar. He started playing in middle school because he thought Tom Petty was cool and wanted to be Tom Petty when he grew up. He also likes David Gilmour and thinks he sounds cool. Daniel was a narcissistic child and shortly after he started playing guitar he decided it would be cool to make a recording of himself so he could listen to how awesome he sounded (he sounded terrible). Instead of hiring someone who knew what they were doing, Daniel figured that it would be cheaper and easier to just learn how to make the recording himself. He proceeded to plug a $10 microphone into the tiny microphone jack on the front of his parent's computer, and with the help of some free software from the interwebs, made his first recording. Daniel now engineers, mixes, and masters all of Geppetto's Retribution's music. It was neither easier nor cheaper.

Lea has traveled the country performing in cities such as Portland, Seattle, Spokane, Austin, New York, Memphis, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. Ferdinand is the bassist of Geppetto's Retribution. Ferdinand is from Austin, TX. Austin, TX is great and so is Ferdinand! After working with Lea on a project known as "Up For Debate," he decided to try his luck and move to Seattle in pursuit of strengthening what was already a great musical bond. Originally a lead guitar player, he agreed to switch to bass seeing that it was the only missing link in the lineup. He had his first practice with Lea, Dan and Gary on his first day in Seattle and was immediately hooked.
Dustin grew up in the Yakima Valley and has been playing music since the 5th grade. He played percussion up until his Freshman year of high school and then bought his first $150 acoustic guitar, being thoroughly frustrated with people asking him to play them a song on the drums. His dad promised to help him purchase an electric guitar and amp if he could learn three songs all the way through. Fast forward to the jazz department at Gonzaga University circa 2010, this is where he met Daniel, Lea, and Gary and started what has become a strong musical bond and friendship. Dustin lives in Eastern Washington and drives over each week to play shows and rehearse with the band, his major influences are Led Zeppelin, John Mayer, and a range of 90's rock and jam bands.
